Stephanie was invited to her friend Brianna's surprise birthday party hosted by her husband, Gabe. Gabe also invited his friend from high school, Schaeffer. He brought his wife, Jori. Jori met Stephanie at this party. Jori told Stephanie that she had gone to her friend Lindsey's birthday party the weekend before, and that she had met Lindsey's husband's (then fiancee) brother and that he seemed like a super cool guy and that we'd probably hit it off. Jori asked Stephanie for her number. Jori texted her friend Lindsey, who texted her fiancee Garrett, who texted his brother, Mark and told him about the girl Jori had met. Mark decided to actually go ahead and text Stephanie and ask her on a date. They went on their first date on July 27, 2024, became a couple in September 2024, and got engaged in January 2026! In July 2026, Mark and Stephanie attended Lindsey's Birthday party as an engaged couple.
